Online Zoom Improv Training Classes

Every Tuesday, 6:00 to 7:30 pm (Arizona Time)

Want to sharpen your wit, think faster on your feet, and have a blast without ever leaving home? Join The Outcasters founder and author Joe Hammer for energetic, interactive online improv training classes via Zoom! Every Tuesday night from 6:00–7:30 PM (Arizona time), you’ll laugh, learn, connect, and “put your funny on” in a supportive, high-energy environment. No previous improv experience is required… just a willingness to jump in and have fun!

For just $10, each drop-in class includes creative warm-ups, hilarious games, scene work, and personalized improv coaching designed to help you become more confident, spontaneous, and expressive both onstage and in everyday life. Joe teaches the principles behind both short-form and long-form improvisation, helping students develop real skills instead of simply playing random games.

Unlike many online improv classes that focus only on activities, these sessions dive into the deeper techniques that make scenes truly engaging and funny — including listening, emotional connection, character work, scene initiations, timing, commitment, and more. You’ll receive direct feedback, discover new techniques every week, and continue growing as a performer and communicator.

To ensure every student receives personal attention, direct feedback, and plenty of stage time, classes are limited to a maximum of just 10 students per session. Classes are ongoing, so you can jump in anytime… and because every class is different, there’s always something new to explore!

He stumbled inside a drop-in improv class and, after seeing what The Outcasters were all about, he quickly realized he was home!
