Improv for a Cause

The Outcasters would love to partner with you to raise money for your group, foundation, school or organization! Our troupe members take great pride in assisting local non-profit organizations with their fundraising efforts with our Improv for a Cause program. Our troupe members are ready to support your fundraising events while getting the word out about your organization!

We will directly collaborate with you to create a unique entertainment experience for your organization. All proceeds will benefit your cause with 100% of the proceeds brought in through our performance. You just set up the location and we’ll be there to entertain and promote your cause!

Are you looking for a unique fundraiser idea? 

Improv comedy with The Outcasters is a fabulous way to entertain audiences while raising money for worthy causes!

The Outcasters would love to partner with you to financially assist your group, charity, foundation, school or organization! Our troupe members enjoy raising money and awareness for worthwhile causes. We take great pride in assisting local non-profit organizations with their fundraising efforts with our Improv for a Cause program. 

Whether for a golf or country club looking to hold a charity event, banquet or gala for their members, or the charity itself looking to raise funds and awareness, host an improv comedy night with The Outcasters!

We earmark a number of annual shows to work with charitable organizations at no cost. We love working with small local organizations in their fund-raising efforts with our laugh-out-loud entertainment! And our squeaky-clean material is completely appropriate for your church or school audience!

We will directly collaborate with you to create a unique entertainment experience for your organization. We’ll assist you with all the details and be there to entertain and promote your cause!

Meet Joe Hammer

Joe Hammer - Your Improv Coach Joe Hammer has been actively presenting powerful personal and business development seminars and entertainment programs for decades. Complimenting his book, THE IMPROV EDGE, Joe’s improv classes and workshops deliver high-impact content from his extensive training with Magnet Theater, Upright Citizen’s Brigade and Impro Theatre, including disciplines with fellow improv authors, Mick Napier of The Annoyance Theater and Will Hines of UCB.

Joe’s classes go beyond simple improv games; you’ll discover practical and constructive principles of both short and long form improvisation – all while enjoying ample stage time, personalized coaching and considerate feedback. There’s something new in every class!

And it’s all taught in a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental setting. No egos. No harassment. No criticism. Just progressive improv training in a positive environment!

Meet the Outcasters' Chameleon Mascot, Banter!

As a perceptive chameleon, Banter recognizes the importance of being adaptable. Banter came to be the Outcasters’ mascot after trying to find a place to cool off from the blazing Arizona sun. He stumbled inside a drop-in improv class and, after seeing what The Outcasters were all about, he quickly realized he was home! Whether you’re an experienced improviser, just beginning your improv journey, or attending one of our shows, Banter invites you to join us!
